Doctor in Mathematics Didactics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

His line of research focuses on the teacher training process experienced by those preparing to become primary school teachers (6-12 years old), and the knowledge and skills they generate along this training path. In addition, he is interested in studying the role of the mathematics teacher educators of these students and the impact of their role as role models.
